# Claim an Event Pass with a code

> Enter the code at quizzy.earth/work and press Claim Event Pass. The 4 days start when you claim, so claim on the day of your quiz.

Some Event Passes come free with a code, for example one printed on a Quizzy flyer. A pass from a code is the same as a bought one: unlimited players and everything in Host Pro, for 4 days. There’s no card and nothing to cancel.

> **Tip:** The 4 days start when you claim, not when you get the code. Claim it on the day of your first quiz.

## 1. Open the claim page

Go to [quizzy.earth/work](https://quizzy.earth/work), or scan the QR code on the flyer.

## 2. Enter the code

Type the code into the Code field and press Claim Event Pass. Capitals don’t matter.

## 3. Sign in if asked

If you’re not signed in, Quizzy asks for your email and sends you a sign-in code. Once you’re in, the pass is claimed for you, so you don’t need to press the button again.

## 4. Host your quiz

The page shows when your pass ends. Every quiz you host until then takes unlimited players. Press Make a quiz to start.

## Questions

### It says the code doesn’t match. What now?

Check the spelling against where you got the code. If it still doesn’t work, the code may have ended: the page says so when it has.

### Can I use the same code twice?

No. Each account can claim a pass with a code once.

### I already have an Event Pass. Can I add a code to it?

Not while it’s running. Wait until it ends, then claim the code for a fresh 4 days.

### What happens when the pass ends?

You’re back on the free plan, with up to 10 players a game. Nothing is charged.
