# Show an explanation after each question

> Add text, a picture or a short YouTube clip to a question, and show it on the big screen after the answer.

In Classroom Mode, an explanation appears on the projector after you reveal the answer. Add it to a question on the projector computer before you start the quiz.

## 1. Open the explanation editor

Once your questions are added, click the row that says how many questions are ready. Next to a question, click **Add explanation**. If you write a question yourself, you can also add one under **Explanation shown after the reveal (optional)**.

## 2. Choose a layout

Under **Layout**, pick **One** to fill the screen with one thing, **Two columns** to put two things side by side, or **Two rows** to put one above the other.

## 3. Fill each part

For each part, choose what to **Show**: **Text**, **Image** or **Video**. Type the text you’ll read aloud, or click **Choose image…** to add a picture.

## 4. Add a YouTube clip

Paste a link under **YouTube link**. Once Quizzy recognizes the link, **Start (seconds)** and **End (seconds)** appear, so you can play only the part you need. Each explanation can have one video.

## 5. Check the preview

**On the big screen** shows the explanation as the class will see it. If the text is too long for one screen, the preview says so. When it looks right, click **Save explanation**.

## 6. Show it in the lesson

After the answer is revealed, tap **Show explanation** on your phone. On the projector computer’s keyboard, Space does the same, and then scrolls text that runs past one screen.

> **Warning:** Videos play from YouTube on the classroom screen. If YouTube is blocked on your school network, the video won’t load, so try one on the projector computer before the lesson.
