# Put your quiz on the TV

> Install the free Quizzy TV app, open it to get a 6-letter code, then type that code into Connect to TV on your host screen.

## 1. Install Quizzy TV

Search your TV’s app store for “Quizzy”: [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6802472530) on Apple TV, [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rahuld.quizzytv) on Android TV and Google TV, or [Amazon Appstore](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HKDH23TV) on Fire TV.

## 2. Open the app to get a code

Open Quizzy TV and leave its 6-letter code on screen.

## 3. Open Connect to TV

Go to [quizzy.earth/host](https://quizzy.earth/host). On a computer, click the TV icon (**Connect to TV**) in the top-right corner. On a phone, open the menu and tap **Connect to TV**.

## 4. Type the code

Type the 6 letters from the TV and tap **Pair**. The TV switches to your game.

> **Note:** Keep your host screen open. The game runs there, and the TV only shows it.

## Questions

### What if it says “No TV found with this code”?

Codes are letters only, so a 0 is the letter O and a 1 is the letter I. Still failing? See [Fix TV connection problems](https://quizzy.earth/help/tv-troubleshooting).

### Do the TV and my phone need the same Wi-Fi?

No. Both just need to be online.

### Do players need the TV app?

No. Players join on their phones as usual. See [How players join](https://quizzy.earth/help/how-players-join).

### What if my TV isn’t one of these?

Show your host screen from a laptop over HDMI, or cast a browser tab.
