How scoring works
100 points for a right answer, plus up to 100 more the faster you answer.
With a 20-second timer
| Answered after | Correct | Speed | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.4s | 100 | 98 | 198 |
| 5s | 100 | 75 | 175 |
| 10s | 100 | 50 | 150 |
| 19.9s | 100 | 0 | 100 |
| Wrong answer | 0 | 0 | 0 |
No timer? Speed is scored as if the question had a 20-second timer.
Questions with more than one right answer give partial credit, and it scales both the correct and the speed points.
Ties
Equal scores are ordered by total time on correct answers, measured to the millisecond. Only an exact match on both shares a place.
Why it’s fair
Your time is measured on your own phone, from when the question appeared to your tap — so a slow connection doesn’t cost you points.
The host checks every time against when your answer actually arrived.
Other game modes
- Knockout ranks by lives first.
- Surveys and predictors aren’t scored.
