Add a ready-made quiz from the library

In Add questions, pick From the library, search or scroll, open a quiz to see its questions, and add them to your game in one go.

The library is Quizzy’s own collection of ready-made quizzes, the same ones on the public games page. It works on every plan, including free.

  1. 1

    Open the library

On your host screen at quizzy.earth/host, tap Questions, then Add questions, then From the library. The library opens on top, and anything you were writing stays where it was.

  2. 2

    Find a quiz

Scroll the list, or type in Search the library. Search looks at quiz names and at the questions inside them, so a word like “volcano” finds a science quiz that asks about one. When a question is what matched, it shows under the quiz’s name.

  3. 3

    Look at its questions

Tap a quiz to see its cover, its name and every question it has. The answers stay hidden, so you can look even if you’re playing too. Tap Library to go back to the list.

  4. 4

    Add the questions

Tap the Add button under the quiz’s name. It says how many questions it adds, such as “Add 12 questions”. If your quiz plays in levels, choose the level under Add them to first. The questions join your game’s list, in that level if you chose one, and you can reorder or delete them like any others.

  5. 5

An empty game takes the quiz’s name and cover

If your game had no questions and no name yet, it also takes the quiz’s name and cover picture. Your settings, like the timer and game mode, stay as you set them. To keep it as your own quiz, tap Save to reuse later (you’ll be asked to log in first if you aren’t). The name and cover are filled in, and you can change either.

Can I add the same quiz twice?

Adding it again only adds questions that aren’t already in your game. If they’re all there, the button says Already in this quiz and nothing is added twice.

Can I add a library quiz to a game that already has questions?

Yes. Its questions join the end of your list, and your game keeps its own name and cover.

What happens if I change a library question?

Your change makes it your own question in your game. The library quiz itself never changes, and its fun fact is left off, since it was written for the original wording.

Why isn’t every public game in the library?

Surveys, brackets, prediction games and reading quizzes need their own kind of game, so the library only lists quizzes you can host as they are.
