Set a quiz as homework with a link

Share a self-paced link: students play on their own time with no accounts, and you see how the class did on the quiz’s Performance page.

Updated October 16th, 2026

A self-paced link lets students play a saved quiz on their own, whenever suits them. You need to be signed in with the quiz saved to your account. Students don’t need accounts.

  1. 1

    Open your saved quizzes

Sign in and go to Saved Quizzes at quizzy.earth/templates. Your quizzes are under My quizzes.

  2. 2

    Create the link

On the quiz’s card, under Self-paced link, tap Create link. If the quiz already has a link, tap Copy link instead and skip to sharing it.

  3. 3

    Choose how long it works

Under Link expires in, pick how long students have to play, such as 7 days.

  4. 4

    Make the link

    Tap Generate Link.

  5. 5

    Copy and share it

Tap Copy Link, then paste it into your class channel, homework post or email.

  6. 6

Students play in their own time

Students open the link on any phone, tablet or computer and play on their own. They don’t need an account. When they finish, each student sees Your Results and can open Questions Review to see the correct answer next to theirs.

  7. 7

    See how the class did

On the quiz’s card, tap Performance, then tap Solo to see only plays from the link. It shows how many students opened, started and finished, the score spread, and the Hardest questions.

Can I see each student’s score?

No. Performance shows the whole class together, not one student at a time. For each student’s score, run the quiz live and turn on class reports.

Do students need an account or an app?

No. The link opens in any web browser.
