Exit tickets and quick checks with survey mode

Turn on survey mode for an end-of-lesson check: students answer without scores, and you see how the class answered each question.

Updated October 16th, 2026

Survey mode turns a live game into a quick check. Nothing is marked right or wrong, there’s no leaderboard, and you see how many students picked each answer.

  1. 1

    Write a short quiz

In the host lobby, tap Questions in the panel above Start game, then Add questions, then Write your own. Write 3–5 multiple-choice questions about today’s lesson, or make a quiz with AI instead.

  2. 2

    Open the settings

In the lobby, tap Settings in the panel above Start game.

  3. 3

    Turn on survey mode

Under Scoring & flow, turn on Survey mode. Scores and auto-advance switch off with it.

  4. 4

    Start the check

When students have joined on their phones, tap Start game. They answer each question without scores or a leaderboard.

  5. 5

    Move through the questions

After each question, your screen shows how many students picked each answer. Tap Next question when you’re ready.

  6. 6

    Read the results

After the last question, tap Show results. The Game Over screen shows each question again with how many students picked each answer. Swipe through the slides.

Read the results before you leave the Game Over screen. A survey game’s answers aren’t saved to your quiz, and no class report is sent.

Use survey mode when you want honest answers without competition. For review practice, play a scored game instead: students see right and wrong answers, and you can get a class report with every student’s scores.
