Fix TV connection problems
Most TV problems are fixed by pairing again: reopen Quizzy TV for a fresh code, tap Unpair in Connect to TV, then type the new code and tap Pair.

Pairing again is safe. The game picks up where it is, and nobody’s score or lives change.
Get a fresh code on the TV
Open Quizzy TV. If it’s already open on the code screen, use the code it shows. It makes a new 6-letter code each time it starts or disconnects.
Disconnect the old TV
On your host screen, open Connect to TV (the TV icon in the top-right corner, or the menu on a phone). If it says “Paired with” and an old code, tap Unpair.
Type the new code
Open Connect to TV again, type the 6 letters the TV shows now and tap Pair.
What if it says “No TV found with this code”?
Codes are letters only, so a 0 is the letter O and a 1 is the letter I. If it still fails, reopen Quizzy TV for a new code and check the TV is online. It doesn’t need to be on the same Wi-Fi as your phone.
I can’t find Quizzy TV in my TV’s app store
Search for “Quizzy” in the App Store on Apple TV, Google Play on Android TV and Google TV, or the Amazon Appstore on Fire TV. You can also open the store listing on your phone and install it to the TV from there. On Fire TV it needs Fire OS 6 or newer: Fire TV Stick 4K (2018) and every stick since, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV Edition TVs. Older sticks (2014–2016) aren’t offered it. On Fire TV, press Menu on the remote to open the app’s settings.
What if my TV isn’t an Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV?
Show your host screen from a laptop over HDMI, or cast a browser tab.
The TV stopped following the game. What now?
Pair again with the steps above. The game runs on your host screen, not the TV, so it picks up where it is. If you only refreshed your host screen, you usually don’t need to: your browser remembers the TV.
